Flash speed (baud)

Auto picks the fastest speed verified for your board (460800). Drop to 115200 only if a flash ever fails.

Full chip erase Wipes all data & settings before flashing. Use for a clean slate or a stuck board.

Troubleshooting

Don't see your board in the popup? Use a USB cable that carries data (not charge-only). On Windows you may need a driver: CH340 (D1 Mini / WiFi Nugget) or CP2102. On Mac/Linux it's usually built in. Then reload and try again.

USB Nugget, Bluetooth Nugget, or Nibble won't connect? Put it in install mode: hold BOOT, tap RESET once, then release BOOT. (No reset button? Hold BOOT while plugging in the USB cable, then release.)

Advanced — offset & multiple parts

First part offset

A full/merged image is one part at 0x0. For a multi-part ESP32 flash (like Adafruit's ESPTool): bootloader 0x1000, partitions 0x8000, app 0x10000. Each part flashes at its own offset in one pass.
